Jah Bless
It’s crazy how sometimes one thing, small or big, negative or positive, can change your life forever. It makes all your focus points change and questions pretty much your whole life layout. I am now certain that when I get home in a month, the good parts of ACD will be back, in a much more mature, focused and ambitious way. I’m leaving my baggage here. It’s weird that something...

Bangkok
Been in Bangkok for a couple days now, enjoying the return of the sun and a visit to the Tiger Temple, and living the quick and excessively wild pace of Khao San Road. Today was our last breakfast as a group, my Belgian friend is probably already on a plane by now. Most are staying for a couple days, but sadly everyone is departing, one after the other. I might be going to Siem Reap for my visa...

I’m now in a slow boat going up the Mekong River. We’ve got 10 hours ahead of us today, a night in PakBeng, then another 10 hours up river tomorrow for the Thai border. I can’t believe we’re only 1 day away from leaving Laos….I might come back here for my visa run for Thailand, in a week. A visa run is when people want to stay somewhere longer than they are permitted,...

Leaving remote Lac Sao
Sabai-dii Lao! Woke up this morning so happy with some Black Keys and Al Green after a deep sleep, the first I’ve had in ages. I’m sad my roomate Lisa has left to India, she was the most awesome roomate anyone could ask for. The last night in Hanoi was spent celebrating her 26th birthday from our room, to a restaurant with (finallllly) some drinkable wine. We then went to a backpacker...

Shock Resistance
Spending an hour alone on a roof during a monsoon thunder/lightenning storm is beyond cleansing. It may be absolutely fataly foolish but proved to me that tonight I’m shock resistant. Physically and emotionally. I feel cleansed and the adrenaline rush has finally drained me of any anger, deception, sadness or negativity. After red wine, a sleeping pill, soothing music, foot massage and a...

Organized Chaos
Hoi An and Hue. What incredible towns. I had the chance to visit both coastal cities mostly by bike and motorcycle (it changes the whole dynamic). In Hoi An, the thing to do is get custom-made tailoring made overnight. I designed my own penguin blazer even though I’ve been broke since Ho Chi Minh’s incident…my friends have proven themselves generous! It’s quite stunning...

Oh my Buddha!
had to say that for an inside joke…you know who you are! So Ho Chi Minh City….I have no other word but “intense”. Before starting, let me just tell you the one rule when walking in the city; never hesitate, keep a steady pace, and never look right or left. Traffic there is mental. Nobody will ever stop; they’ll just swirve around. So we first started off in a huge...

N'importe quoi
I. Love. Cambodia. We just settled beachside and monsoon season just brought us a spectacular thunder/rainstorm. Just hanging out playing pool with some yummy beer (yes, the brits have converted me). The past few days have been incredible. Elephant riding in magical Angkor Wat temple site, bustling markets (tree fo’ wan dallah!!), absolutely mental driving in the capital (which i truly love...
